Emily was raised in a small town along the St. Lawrence River in Upstate New York until moving to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2011.

Having the privilege of being surrounded by water in both towns shaped her love of loose, abstract landscapes.

Emily loves bright colors and varying textures and works to create that in each piece.

She grew up inspired by the artistic passion of most of her family, particularly her mother.

Using watercolor paints has allowed Emily to learn acceptance and appreciation for the medium. It is a journey of love and learning.
